Patti Justice - Owner & Prenatal Massage Therapist
Patti was born and raised in Austin, TX. A true native! She received National Certification in Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork in 2004, after 6 years of working as a professional Graphic Artist.
Patti studied Psychology, Nursing, & Physical Therapy before she ever decided on a Visual Art Degree from the University of Central Florida. Alas, 6 years into this artistic career, she felt called to do something more…she wanted to combine her artistic spirit with her need to nurture and heal. Massage Therapy was a perfect fit. In addition to NCTMB, she is a member of Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals www.abmp.com, & American Pregnancy Association www.americanpregnancy.org
Patti took advanced training in Pregnancy Massage in 2006, and made that her niche. The idea to create a Pregnancy Spa was a 4 year process that involved finding the right mentors, keeping a clear vision and deep personal growth. Blooming is absolutely her “love child”.

Valerie Brinkman, L.Ac.
Valerie received her Master’s in Oriental Medicine from Emperor’s College in Santa Monica, CA in 1993. Her first practice was established in Portland, Maine where she worked for four years before moving to Austin in 1997. She currently has a private practice as well as providing services at the Wright House, a wellness center located in Austin.
Her background and specialties include working with ob/gyn, infertility, immune disorders, gastrointestinal disorders, allergies, smoking cessation and detoxification.
Valerie’s philosophy: Oriental Medicine offers a gentle way to approach health and wellness. The woman who wants to become pregnant, the woman who is already pregnant, and the woman who is post partum can safely use the modalities of Oriental Medicine as a way to regain and maintain her health – and the health of her child.
By opening the meridians and channels of the body, acupuncture allows the body to do what it often can do naturally – heal itself. Acupuncture, cupping and moxibustion (a form of heat therapy) support the healing process while Chinese herbal formulas and nutrition set the proper fertilization for the body to flourish. Oriental Medicine integrated into a woman’s health care helps her to achieve optimal well being.
As an adjunct to the practice Valerie uses an Ionic Foot Bath for women preparing for pregnancy to help establish the correct balance of positive and negative ions within the body. This footbath has helped many to achieve better health through a detoxification process.
Valerie is a member of the Community Acupuncture Network (CAN). This enables clients to fully embrace and experience the health benefits and positive changes that Acupuncture can facilitate without the worry of expense. Healthcare should and CAN be affordable to everyone.
